David is responsible for delivery of programmatic advertising revenues across the portfolio of BBC sites represented by BBC Advertising. He is focused on automating the BBC’s display and video advertising and ensuring that its inventory is discoverable in all markets outside of the UK, working in tandem with local sales teams and a technical team to enable ease of deal provision as well as maintaining the quality of the advertising network.
Prior to joining BBC Worldwide in 2014, David was responsible for programmatic trading at Gumtree (part of eBay Inc.) where he was at the forefront of premium programmatic trading in the UK, setting up Gumtree’s first private market place in 2011. Before Gumtree, David worked at London Metro.
A keen rugby player, David is on the National Advertising Benevolent Society (NABS) committee for the Rugby Sevens charity tournament.
