Sylvie Dobrota is research associate at Stanford Medicine X, in the department of Anesthesiology, Preoperative, and pain Medicine at Stanford Medicine at Stanford University.
She is passionate about human-centered research, the role of digital innovation in medicine, and creating more inclusive and collaborative health care spaces. Most recently, she published a peer-reviewed paper on the use of a novel digital health device to improve quality of life for patients living with an ostomy.
She graduated from UC Berkeley with a BA in Molecular and Cell Biology, with an emphasis in Neurobiology, and will be attending Stanford University in the fall as a graduate student in the Epidemiology and Clinical Research program.
